Business leaders look to AI for regional growth with ONE

In life sciences, testing an assumption early can save years. AI is changing how fast founders can do it.

Mentors, board members and partners joined Paul Cheek, senior lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management and serial entrepreneur, at ONE Tech Hub for the third AI for Regional Growth session. They explored synthetic market research and how AI sharpens Disciplined Entrepreneurship, the framework behind every founder journey at ONE.

The aim was to give the people who steer life sciences founders the knowledge to ask the right questions about customers, markets and evidence, before a venture commits time and capital.

These leaders are giving their time to invest in their own learning so they can keep giving back and sharing insights with the ecosystem.

Here's what Professor Seshadri Vasan, who sits on the ONE Life Sciences Board had to say:

“The workshop showed how we can still use AI for rapidly generating hypotheses without sharing any NHS data with third parties. These hypotheses can then be tested within the NHS trusted research environment, using tools that comply with our information governance.

"I intend to socialise this across the UK NHS Research and Development Forum’s AI and Data Group, which I co-chair. ”
