Achieving this will anchor established and growing life sciences businesses in the region and catalyse new spinouts and start-ups, doubling the size of the company based in the area, attracting new partners and securing investment.

2500 jobs across industry, research and academia.

75% of Scotland's late-stage drug development companies.

Our Future.

Double the number of companies in the region’s life sciences cluster by 2027.

The northeast of Scotland is home to leading life sciences research in biologics, imaging and digital health data analysis. The region’s goal is to harness these strengths and related asset bases to develop one of the most exciting commercial life sciences clusters in the world.
